Science in the Local Community

May 8, 2018

Last month Samantha Russell organised an outreach event at a local nursery called Westfield Family Nature Centre. The event allowed children between the ages of 4-5 to take part in some scientific activities. Sam, Alan, Josh, Teresa, Claire, Tony and Rebekah delivered a variety of experiments including indicators, liquid crystals and good old fashioned slime. The day was a resounding success as can be seen from the photos below. The best bit, in my opinion, is the wonderful thank you letter we received. You can have a read HERE. Well done guys - superb work!
